When in Rome… You can’t go to Italy without visiting Rome, and you can’t visit Rome without going to see the Roman Colosseum. The beautiful Roman stadium is a monument and reminder of the glory days of the Roman Empire. I took a guided tour of the Colosseum and it was worth every euro. My guide was an Italian gentleman that spoke very good English and was full of entertaining stories and facts about the history of the Colosseum.
