Cemetery Tour – New Orleans

New Orleans is famous for cemeteries that contain beautiful above ground burial mausoleums. Many of the cemeteries are haunted according to local folk lore.

While visiting the Garden District of New Orleans I took a guided tour of the local cemetery. Great fun. Pictured above, my guide points out some of the celebrity dead as well as gives information of the above ground burial process.
