In downtown Athens I stayed at the Athens Gate Hotel. It was a fantastic choice. The hotel, staff, and location were amazing! I would encourage anybody visiting Athens to stay at this spectacular hotel.

When I arrived in the room I was greeted by a free bottle of Greek wine and snacks courtesy of the hotel Manager.

The rooftop terrace of the hotel is said to be in the world’s top 5 for hotel views and I believe it is true. From this side you see the famous Greek Acropolis.
