The Roman Forum

The Forum was the center of life in Imperial Rome.
This view of the Forum was taken on top of the Palatine Hill.
The Roman Forum was home to temples, basilicas, tombs, shrines, markets, and Roman government buildings.
Today the Forum is open to the public and is still an important archaeological site and I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the area.
