Located inside of the Virgin Islands National Park along the north shore road on St John is a beach known as Hawksnest. This beautiful beach is less than 2 miles from Cruz Bay and is a favorite of tourists and locals. The sand is soft and the water is crystal clear.
Hawksnest has wonderful coral reefs and excellent snorkeling just off shore.
On weekends Hawksnest can get a little crowded so I usually make a point to visit this beach on weekdays. Parking is close to the beach making this a very accessible beach for everyone.
