In Georgetown is a fantastic Italian restaurant called Filomena’s. You know it’s going to be great as soon as you enter and see grandma making gnocchi by hand and smell the garlic. Pictured here is a lobster pasta dish along with lamb sausage. The pasta was loaded with chunks of lobster and the lamb sausage was so good I wanted another order! I wish I had a better photo of the pasta. It was so delicious and this picture doesn’t do it justice.
Here again is the lamb sausage with a huge plate of home made ravioli and meatballs. Not a typical Italian combination but I loved every bite.
The service, the wine, the ambiance, and especially the food, made this the best dinner I had in DC.
