The Acropolis Museum – Athens Greece

Welcome to the Acropolis Museum of Athens Greece. This beautiful museum was built and dedicated to house the magnificent work and temples on the Acropolis. It is located in the shadow of the Parthenon high above and is located in the most beautiful neighborhood of the Plaka.
The museum was built directly over the top of ancient Greek  ruins.
As you enter the museum you see the ruins undisturbed even though this new and modern museum was constructed over them.
The museum is a beautiful work of  modern architecture.

At sunset the Acropolis Museum and it’s treasures glow golden yellow just like they must have thousands of years  ago on the Acropolis.
Notice the girl sitting on the floor? She is there to enjoy the sunset and the art.
This museum is very beautiful.
