The Sagrada Familia – Barcelona Spain

The Sagrada Familia is a large Roman Catholic Church in Barcelona designed by famous architect Antoni Gaudi. 90 years after the death of Gaudi the church has entered the final stages of construction. Construction began in 1872 after Gaudi returned from a trip to the Vatican that inspired his vision to create the cathedral.
The Sagrada Familia is the most famous landmark in Barcelona. A tourist favorite, the cathedral is open to the public daily. Admission to the cathedral is $15 euro and you can get an audio guide for an additional $5 euro. It can get crowded so get your tickets early and be sure to see this amazing church when you visit Barcelona.
