The Spaniards know how to eat. Tapas, tapas, and more tapas. Nothing is better than going out and sampling these bite size morsels and washing them down with a cold Spanish beer or a sparkling Spanish cava.
This was my second visit to Barcelona and I had made it a point to head right to Txapela for Spanish tapas. Txapela is a well known tapas bar and restaurant with 51 different tapas dishes on the menu.
The menu is a pictorial eye chart of every dish and it’s corresponding number. Ordering in English or Spanish is as easy as knowing how to count. I wanted to try all 51!
Txapela has indoor and outdoor seating but my preference is sitting at the bar. It’s a great way to experience the bar and meet people from all over Spain and the rest of the world.
