Monday Night Seafood Buffet at Caneel Bay Resort

Every Monday night the Caneel Bay Resort hosts an all you can eat seafood buffet that includes all the caribbean lobster you handle. I ate two and a half lobsters! At any one time the grill is cooking up twenty or thirty lobsters. Other items included shrimp, grouper, salads, and a very large dessert offering.

Native Fauna on St John, USVI

A dryer climate on the east end of St John results in an abundance of large cactus. This specimen sits over looking Dennis bay.

Sandy Cay in the British Virgin Islands has no inhabitants. Nothing but palm trees, jungle, and white sandy beaches. Sandy Cay sits between Tortola and Jost Van Dyke.

Porcupine Fish Underwater St John USVI

I saw this porcupine fish while snorkeling off of Maho Bay. I’ve seen plenty of these fish over the years but this was the first time I had the opportunity to see one fully inflated.
